  The office
has always been considered a safe working place, especially if compared
to the typical industrial productive environment. As the number of
exposed subjects grew and both the technologies employed for building
environments, fittings and working tools and the tasks characteristics
changed, there has been an increase in reports of discomfort and injuries
in these working populations. This has alerted researchers about the
possible existence of specific risk factors.
